Sorry, I'm glad Francine hasn't been around the last two issues. Her childish behavior is so old. Brad has taken Katchoo's place as the target of Francine's neurotic bullsh*t. Katchoo's moved on. Francine's finally got her dream Doctor husband and she's STILL not happy.
Casey keeping her old high school picture was a shock! With her vanity she kept a memento from her "ugly" stage? This was the girl who wanted to swap her implants for bigger ones when she saw Francie's huge boobs on display at Katchoo's art expo!
I think I know who the woman "sitting" with David is on page 16. Can't wait for the reveal. It's killing me not knowing for sure. Suspenseful!
Katchoo wants to have David's baby? Is Casey secure enough to let Katchoo have her man's baby? Seems like a spur of the moment reaction from Katchoo, like marrying David in Vegas. Stop and think clearly, Katchoo.

It was great to see everyone together (except Francine why the heck hasn't anyone bothered to inform her?) even if it's for a sad reason. Casey looks way better with her hair unstyled and no makeup; her usual look is so cartoony that I'm amazed anybody finds her attractive. The frame where she says "Tomorrow" is my favourite ever image of her. She IS beautiful, why does she have to cover it up all the time?
Using Pia's illness as an opportunity to preach against anorexia... well, as David said, corny homilies are not seductive. Especially not since all the SiP women are thin " even Francine is quite willowy these days " and have legs that are five feet long.
I thought Katchoo had grown up enough to stop expecting other people to cater to what SHE wants all the time; she should respect David's decision. Then again, it's hard to be objective about losing someone you love (or just losing a favourite comic book character I'm dreading these final issues...)
One of the reasons I'm a Tambi fangirl is how unpredictable she is. Last issue she surprised me by taking care of David and showing a sensitive side we haven't really seen before. This issue she surprised me by being incredibly insensitive, getting the poor lad all wound up with her drastic way of doing things " and clearly enjoying watching him splutter " even though he's dying and she cares about him. Talk about a skewed sense of humour... but it was a funny scene. *g*
And it was great to see Darcy again, even as a figment of her brother's imagination. I love the way she talks ("Bada bing... bada boom... Disneyland. Helluva ride.") but, poor David does he have ANY good memories of her?

I agree with the reviewer below who said this was the best issue in a long time. I just finished reading it and I don't know whether to cry, laugh or both at once. The argument over God's will re living or dying... Casey's revelation about her past (and Katchoo's and Jet's reaction)... "Darcy"'s monologue... and of course the bombshell at the end. 5 out of 5? Try 6 out of 5!

I love this bit. I've ordered my copy and I'm waiting the week or so it takes to cross the pond, reading the cryptic comments from other readers. I know I'm gonna love it when it gets here, and though the wait is murder, it's better than the dreadful moment after I've closed the book. Once it's read, it's six weeks or more til the next, with added torture from reading the reviews. And only nine more issues to be tortured by. What are you going to do next, Terry?

good show, terry. it's been wonderful escaping into the lives of francine & katchoo, and i will continue to do so for as long as you make these last few issues.

I'm less concerned about spoiling it for people, if you don't want to hear about the issue, why read reviews? Do you honestly expect an issue of SIP to be bad? That said, it is quite the issue.
I'd have to say the most shocking part of the end bit, for me at least, was that Katchoo didn't mention this to Francine at all first. I mean it's not as if it's a massive decision that will pretty much take over the rest of their lives, right?

OH MY GOD! I don't want to give anything away to those of you that haven't read it yet. BUT THIS IS THE BEST ISSUE!!!!! Poor David, I mean I knew it was going to happen, but just watching it happen is a whole different experience. I'm so sad for him. And what Katchoo says at the end? OH MY GOD! Quite a shocker that's all I have to say.
