Here's what people are saying about the newest SIP issue:
What YOU Think Chad
Gombosi
June 13, 1999

Hello all, my name is Chad, and I've been reading SIP from the very first printing of the very first issue. This letter is mainly a response to SIP nay-saying that I've seen in the letter colums and such. I've picked up and dropped my fandom for a lot of books, movies, whatever many times before when the happy-go-lucky intro that gets me hooked turns to a darker more depressing core right about the time the author starts to say that this is the story that he meant to tell all along. Bone realy comes to mind here. I was a big Bone fan for the first 12 issues or so... But SIP is different (but we knew that right). I miss the more care free times for the characters. A lot. And it hurts to see them constantly in some kind of trouble with Freddie, or the cops, or AIDS or whatever. But hey, I miss those times in my life to. If the story doesn't change it gets BORING, (ever read Ranma 1/2?), and that's why it sort of bothers me to hear fans whining to Terry Moore because life isn't as easy for the SIP cast as it once was. Many also seem to think that Katchoo is supposed to be some super dyke lesbian poster child, and that her marying David is some sort of treason towords the Hyper Lesbian Alternateen Master Race. Katchoo can do what ever the hell she wants, and mary whoever she wants because that's what making choices is about. If you feal that you need to conform to some stupid 90s lesbian mold to solve your pitiful identity crisis, so be it. But don't assume everyone needs a life too, they may already have one. I absolutely love SIP. On a side note, Terry, I realy don't want to take you away from your work, but all F1 fans must go out and buy Grand Prix Legends for the PC. It is a classic (Jim Clark era) F1 simlator. Dirt roads, no track maps or speedos, ect. Very cool. Chad Gombosi

Well, I'm now certifiably insane. I haven't been able to read the last FEW issues, because my friend loaned me hers as she got them and now I've moved several states away! I guess I'll have to sell all my worldly posessions to go out and buy the whole set up to date! I'm in love. The only comic I ever read besides this was Neil Gaiman's Sandman. These are absolutely fabooo, and I'm not kidding. Thanks, Terry, for doing this service to the comic world. By the way, do you have the Ultra Top Secret Handbook of Insight Into Women's Soul's? If so, we'll have to hunt down the traitor who gave it to you and have her...eliminated. Haha. Really, you do seem to understand a lot. Keep it up!

I always imagined David dying some quiet death kind of like a candle burning out. Now that I know he was a gang leader my thoughts have changed. Boy David must have felt snubbed, when he and katchoo were going to go to bed together and francine popped in. In that instant Katchoo was ready to be with her and not David. I don't think Katchoo would ever love David as much as she loves Francine. Terry, once again a work of art. thankyou

I loved the last issue. But then again I love every issue. I just wanted to say that I hate Casey. She is a bitch. Of course I can't say that she doesn't have her reasons for acting that way,... but I still don't like her. I especially loved the begining of this issue with Francine. She always has the best way to put everything once she gives herself time to actually think about it.

I don't know. I never had doubts that Katchoo would drag easily to the bed a man that will receive 1.4 billion dollars; however, I was surprised with the speed that Francine lost your fear of swimming. I cannot really wait for #24 to see that if she will take other attitudes as fast as the jump into the pond. Six weeks it's will enter to the humanity's history as the period anxiety symbol. Bambi's in the jail, but Tambi is free on the streets... (I'm sorry, Terry, I couldn't resist make this joke...)

I actually re-read this issue. You're doing something special with the pacing. It's very tight. I never re-read a comic book twice in a row. Whatever it is, you're getting nova hot again. Stick with it! (P.S. I buy 2 copies of every issue because my girlfriend, Maria, never gave me back the ones I lent her and I couldn't stand the idea of an incomplete collection. Both Maria and her oldest daughter, Michelle, read SIP and they never read comic books otherwise. You truly made it to the top of a discriminatingly short list of one!) Robert Gavila

I love the fact that for now everyone is back together. I know how Francie feels. The speach she had with Katchoo is how I feel at times. I hope things go well. But it don't look that way with david getting all of his sisters money.

Murder? A gang leader? And I thought he was just a choirboy faced angel. It's a nice twist for David. But now in my mind's eye I can see how things may unfold, David gets dragged back into the mafia and is murdered. But then again, maybe not. The way you've been throwing curveballs at us, we can never be too sure. Who knows, maybe David gets a papercut and the cut becomes infecting and he dies of gangrene. (Heaven forbid he would ever die this way). As for Casey, at first I didn't like her. Now.........the poor thing broke my heart. At least give this one a happy ending. As always, great issue. Love & kicks, Lamech P.S. Did I read right.......Darcy was married?

OH MY GOD!!! He did it again !!! Another cliffhanger! What's going to happpen now? I loved that last line. " Why am I the only one not wearing clothes?" I can't believe Darcy left David all her money. After last issue's ending I was afraid Katchoo would end up beating David up. I'm glad that didn't happen. I cant wait until next issue!!

Mr. Moore, I'd call you Terry but I really don't know you that informally. I would like to throw my metaphorical self at your feet but you are a man and that would lower my standards unless you did something extremely redeeming. My friend Will recently got me to read your comicbooks-(visual novels...comicbooks in this sense is blasphemous!) And I have to admit after the first issue I was hooked. Even now I am desperatley awaiting the next titilating snipet of what i have come to know as the most real (oddly enough) depiction of life without being a soap opera sap fest. (I really hate those!) Currently all of my friends are circualting all back issues we can get our hands on. I love your work and your writing, you bring dignity to your characters and you draw them with real emotion. I guess the reason why I enjoy SIP the most is because it is like I am having my life written. I admire the character Katchoo, we have alot in common. While I am not a lesbian nor never have been many know me to be somewhat of a feminist(?!) GO FIG! But we both have had harsh backlives that have left us harder and more in tune with reality, and we are both artists. I have never been one to do male nudes, but I do females all the time. It was really surprising that before I had even read SIP I had started started a nude that bears an extreme resemblance of Francine. It was kinda freaky. Not to mention that Katchoo and I have the same haircut(the short one) since I went on a rant and chopped all my hair off in January. (Hey it was a tough month.) The long and short of it is that I love your works, the ex-wrestling teamer who has longstanding authority issues in me is glad to see that someone (even if they are only an intimate drawing) can come out on top. Thanks alot. -Brandy Cox P.S. I'd be interested in sending you a copy of the Francine if you'd like. Maybe I'll pair some of my poetry to it.

Finally! after treading water for several issues we are finally getting a bit of a payoff in this issue, acouple of things stood out to me: 1) Katchoo and David, I always had a bit of a suspicion ever scince David's "dear Sister" came on the scene that the reason Katchoo and David worked together was that on some level they rcognized eachother as damaged goods (ironically both as a result of the same organisation as it turns out) That really shows up with the scene at the water basin when he goes to get a drink after getting the news of his inheritence (which has GOT to become a cursed chalice) of all the characters only Katchoo could possibly understand the full impact of this. Besides we are finally getting a hint as to what (could) have happened to David and his relationship with Katchoo, personally I remain unconvinced that he's dead as Katchoo and her personal secretary are talking about him in present tense in one of the sequences set ten years hence. 2) Francine we get to see a little more inside her and what makes her tick, she has problems, but they are standard middle class anxieties and for once even she recognizes them as being small compared to Katchcoo's pastbut identifying them is the first step to fixing them, something Katchoo has at least in part done but up until now Francine hasn't. 3) Casey I'm going to come to the girl's defence here, am I the only one that sees Casey as she is now as what Francine was at the start of our journey with these characters?, the same phobias, neuroses and.... man (if this is the right description for Freddie) as Francine at the start of the series (with possibly a little less brain, than Francine but let's be honest, as much as we all love her Francine is no rocket scientist either), it also goes to help highlight how far Francine has gone towards understanding herself that she isn't now simply an older version of Casey. besides what is it about Freddie that makes relatively sane women strip naked at the most inopportune moments? A good well rounded issue with plenty of character development, drama and humour to avoid it getting too dark

I thought this issue was funny. It seems that no one really knows who to love. David seems to have some background that might make him a force to be reckon with. And it make sense, you dont be Darcy's brother and not have some dirt under your fingernails.

Where you are going with David worries me. Money will corrupt him, I very adamantly believe that, because money corrupts EVERYBODY. It's just like anything else, when you've got some, you want more. And more and more and more, et al. Everything does this; money, love, affection, sex, comics, cds, nice clothes, friends, coffee, beer, happiness, etc, etc, etc. ESPECIALLY in America where we're all little 'Need Machines'. You know those people you see in the mall and you think to yourself, "Man, what a shallow, one-dimensional person that is. I'm so much more evolved than them." Well, they're thinking the exact same thing about you. Anyway, I think I've come up with a possible future for our man David. "David sat up all night, drank a bottle of wine, and stared at the paining she had done of him. He never even took off his shoes." Bye Dan

My friend Jill got me into SiP about a month ago... I can't put it down! I think this is one of the best comics on the market! One gets tired of the carbon copy heroes, and seeing EVERY woman with large breasts and perfect form... SiP has everything you could want in a story: intresting characters, a fantastic plot, wonderful artwork! who can ask for more... The latest, SiP #23 was wonderful! A very ineteresting plot twist, I can't wait for the next issue! Regards, GuardianAngel

This issue was great as always. It was hilarious, but I felt so embarrassed for everyone at the same time. Poor Casey just needs some affection, but she doesn't realize that she's interrupting a tender turning point in David and Katchoo's relationship. And then poor Francine spills her heart out to Katchoo, only to find David and a naked Casey have heard every word. It's driving me crazy wondering how everyone's going to react! And David's been a gang leader and murderer, who would've thought under that sweet demeanor? But then again, he is Darcy's brother. This too makes me curious. And, ok, What's with the dead bird on the cover? Such a horrible image spoils the bittersweet sadness of Francine and the landscape. It must mean something, but what....

Terry, You have this wonderfully, awful talent for allowing your reader to expearence all of the emotions that your charaters are feeling. I catch myself talking to (yelling at) this comic as if my words would magicly give them a clue. It's as people tell victoms in horror movies where the killer is in hopes of spearing the live of a charater that was doomed the moment the writer commited it to paper. (sigh) but alis, I digress . . . . . As your story progresses, I am begining to undersand more and more of your, uh, maddness if you will, and I become less angy with you for the direction thier lives had taken. I understand now that no one peron ever settles in to this neat little package that defines who they are. We are constatly changing, growing into different (hopefully better)humans. Therefore, as art immiates life your charaters must also change. I have enjoyed watching them grow. Thank you.

WOW!!! DAVID AND KATCHOO?!?!?!?! who would have thunk it?? I've been a fan ever since this comic first started and being a bisexual female i identified with Katchoo but most of all with Francine and then Casey. They both show the two most emotional aspects of women. But this issue...whew!!! Those two in bed together...wow!! I have to admit i always fantasized about Francine and katchoo...but in the end David and Katchoo was in the cards. I knew it! But this issue was one of the greatsest most of all because of Francine's awakening and because of the truth of what Casey is really all about and the end was just too funny Keep it up!!

While it is intersting to see that Francine has decided to come back, I thinkt hat Casey needs to get some serious help. The poor thing is starved for attention and sticking her nose into a circle in which she doesn't belong. If I were her friend(and the way I attract people I am most ceartint aht i would) I'd set her stragiht, tell her to dump that dick head freddie and find some one that appreciates her. She's weak and weak charechters are difficult to contend with, especially int his story.

This may sound silly, but this is the fisrt SIP I have ever read. And it wasen't even because I was interested. My friend gave it to be because one after SHE first read it...she started calling ME Katchoo for my own rather violint temper, and I blush to admit it...an old fear of men. Recently broken by a kind sould who I am now deeply in love with. I have yet to catch up with the story, but I have to say that I am in LOVE. The people are so real that I can relate to them as if they lived next door to me. Please don't end this series any time soon. It's my first commic and I already don't want the story to end.

You really enjoy keeping us guessing, don't you Mr. Moore? Another David complication on top of the big question of what happens to him after he marries. And what's with that panel where Casey starts to tear when she thinks David and Katchoo are "party"-ing? Did you have to throw that monkey-wrench into my perception of her? I'm having enough trouble waiting to see how the main characters turn out, and here you go shifting focus on other people. You're killing me with this slow torture. Add more pages, draw faster, do something to shorten the wait!

Wow- I'm truly amazed at where these relationships are going, or more importantly, where i can't see where they are heading. The look at David's past- whoaa- Dave a gang leader- talk about something never would have guessed. But one of the best things about getting to know people is learning the things you never would've expected. And poor Casey- she's so needy- and so well i hate to say it "stupid"- maybe blindingly naieve would be better- I think the readership have all come to expect great characterization when it comes to Francine and Katchoo. But what you're nopw starting to do withj the othjer characters is just great. I just had a gut feeling that this was troo early for the break up- and I've been vindicated.

Is it just me or is the continuity of the story *really* raveling apart fast? I've tried to ignore it, but this issue just brought home the fact that Terry just doesnt seem to be going anywhere with this storyarc, and if he is, its going too slowly. We know the end, but dear lord, how did it *get* there already? And that the last 5 issues happened in less than 48 hours?!?! Fran leaves, sleeps for a day, goes swimming and boom, is back in time to catch Everyone in bed together. Okkkkk.....sure! Theyre so poor Fran can afford to literally go round trip non stop on last minute notice to Tennesee from Houston. Sure, that's believable. *mock laugh* And also he seems to be trying too hard to make Casey and Freddie bad people. "Hmm, Freddie is almost seeming like a normal guy! Cant have that! Better throw in that he tries to get Casey to sleep with his friends! That will then justify her totally unrealistic (and out of nowhere) come on to Katchoo and David!!" Gag. I will stick with for a couple more issues, but if it keeps up at this rate, Terry will lose yet another reader. (Read the letters column, appears Im not the only one who sees the Decline of SiP on the way) Nice try Terry. Please start *explaining* and stop trying to show how many emotional reactions you can cram into one issue.

I loved this issue! This is the only comic I read that can make me howl with laughter, worry, and cry over one issue! I loved the scenes with Casey, this issue really gave me some insight into her character. I feel sorry for her, because I could really see her loneliness and pain, and her longing to be loved by anybody. And now I get to worry about David even more! He ran a gang!? He committed 2 murders!? Oh well....I really don't need that much sleep at night.:)Lastly, your scenes between Katchoo and Francine were so touching, I loved the way you drew Katchoo looking at Francie with love shining in her eyes. You are a great artist and storyteller and thank you for SIP!

Everything with Casey is just hilarious. Well, all I can say is keep up the wonderful work. I'm so barmy on your characters that I'll be perusing a book of poetry and think to myself that this is something that Katchoo would like. Murder charges? MURDER? Now, I figured there were some skeletons in young David's closet (Like I think I smelled a whiff of a hint of incest at one point), but this is big-time. It sounds like at one point David was a very bad man(boy). In which case when he talks about being born-again, he means it. This is one patient, good natured, non voilent guy. Remember Katchoo beating him bloody in the rain while he just professed his love to her over and over? I don't think very many people would put up with that. Heck, try reading that scene again, but pretend Katchoo is the man and David the woman. You'ld be telling David to give up on this violent creep and find a guy who isn't so abusive. But I digress . . . What I'm getting at is what circumstances could have pushed this man to commit a murder? Or more properly, what could have driven a murderer to seek God and become this man . . . And so what if Freddy and Casey are two-dimesional characters? (Actully, I don't think Freddy's that poorly fleshed out.) That's life. Almost everyone I know is poorly characterised. Two-dimesional, stock, half-fleshed-out personalities. Think about it. How many people do you really know, really understand, in your life? Three, maybe four. If your answer's much higher, you're deluding youself. Almost no-one understands you (you know it), so don't think you understand alll of them. my rant for the day.

Excelent! David ran a GANG! Finaly we learn something of HIS past. He always seemed to be such a hollow shell in comparison to the development that you did with Katchoo and Francine. I honestly think that I have never laughed harder in my life! Seeing Casey, in her glorious ignorance, ask Katchoo to _make_ her lesbian...oh geez, someone hit this girl with the "clue" bat! She goes on to make a bigger fool of herself when she tries to make Katchoo & David into a threesome. And, of course, Francine comes home at just the right time! On a more serious note, I read the part where David finds out he's inherited all of his sister's money over and over again. The glare from Darcy's former bodyguard means that if David gives up the money, she must get it. If it means tangling with her, I hope he leaves the money behind and runs away with Katchoo. Well, that's my review... -Jeff Jensen P.S. DAVID & KATCHOO FOREVER (I know it won't happen, but I can hope...)

I've always been wondering how everything ends up so that Katchoo and Francine have a fight and don't talk to each other for 10 years, and David, after getting married to Katchoo, ultimately ends up being a bad memory for her. I thought that maybe David would wind up getting sucked into replacing Darcy. That would explain why Katchoo wasn't with him, and why the mention of his name made her so angry. It seems from this issue that maybe this is the way that this is going. I hope not, since David's whole persona revolves around being the supernice, superdecent guy. I assumed that the big fight between Francine and Katchoo was the last time that the two would see each other for ten years. After all, it seems like Francine ran into her future husband (Brad?) running out of the gallery. So my expectation was that SIP was pretty much getting all wrapped up. I'm surprised that Francine is back so soon, but I'm glad, because the main point of the book seems to be the Francine-Katchoo interaction. As far as Casey goes: she's like Freddie Femur. The two are so one-dimensional! It just seems so weird that they're paired up alongside the very real main three characters. I was actually surprised that Freddie popped up after his initial appearance as the jerk ex-boyfriend who drove Francine crazy. It would seem more realistic if they were more likable and less purely annoying. Looking forward to the next issue!

I knew that Tambi would be back! Even though I was expecting it, I was still caught off guard to see her. I really hate her! When I saw her this anger grew inside of me! When it rains it pours! It seems as if Francine and Katchoo and David can't get a break! And what about Casey! Talk about dumb! I don't think I've ever met such a lost, confused, airheaded soul in my entire life! But I am glad to see Francine back. How much longer is she going to be around though?

I figure that he understands and puts up with Katchoo because hes done just as bad himself but I still want to know how bad hes been gang leader sounds like its only the begining. Can't wait for the next issue. This one was the greatest with Casey and David falling out of the closet I suddenly noticed HE WASNT WEARING PANTS!!!!!! Terry, the Houston Astros should sign you up...I've never seen anyone throw a curveball like you can. Casey asking to be turned gay, then her subsequent crawling into bed with Katchoo and David was sheer brilliance. The last panel made me laugh so hard I ached. Keep up the excellent work!

After I finished reading this issue, the first thought through my head was that the series was getting a little soap opera-ish. I came to realize, however, that in a work based on developing the characters and using the plot only as a mechanism for this developement that this is enevitable and perhaps even desirable. The silly, sideshow characters like Freddie and Casey add an interesting highlight for me. By themselves, they are irritating and distracting. If I wanted to see shallow people I could walk down to the mall. The way that the more fully developed characters are forced to deal with them adds yet another dollop of verisimilitude to the work, however.

This was an amazing issue! I teared up when Francine came back and said she swam. Omigod, that darn Casey! "will you be willing to turn me gay?" Classic! so, David has a lot of money. Really. How...interesting. Tambi's hair is back to normal (oh god, i hope that was Tambi, and I didn't just make some horrible mistake! Now i'll be worrying for the next week!) Those are my key highlights, so L8r ya'll

Terry- A friend of mine turned me on to SIP about 6 months ago, and since then I have been scrambling to find issues...you're very popular around here, judging by the lack of back issues at my local comic shop! Well, as for this issue, all I can say is wow. Why wow? Because I always have rooted for David (me being a guy and all...), and now I'm a little worried about him. Or should I say for him? It looks to me like he is finally where he wants to be-in Katchoo's heart-and now there are people plotting against him! I also worry for poor Casey. Reading the letters pages, I tend to think a few people really don't like her much, but I'm rooting for her to. It seems to me she's just as confused as the rest of us, and searching for an answer to who she is and what she really wants. If I never get to write to you again, let me say that you have really captured the human spirit in this comic book....I've never read any book (and I have around 2500 comics in my collection!) that does a better job of portraying REAL people. Cudos to you, sir! And thank you for the addiction!

Terry, Re: Issue #22 Once again, you've shown that the intangible power of human emotion CAN be depicted in a "funny book". The little scene between David and Katchoo, apres purge, was deeply meaningful with only subtle changes in facial expression spoke volumes. David's "baby" was probably a slip of the tongue, while trying to be supportive. People really can't get mad at him for calling her that, because how would he really know what Darcy called her, considering how clueless he was about that whole time in Katchoo's life. Oh, MAN!!! Casey is going to be such dead meat!!! Should we pick out a coffin now? Or, to make a twist out of it, maybe it will turn out to be the proverbial "Freddie Femur" straw that breaks Katchoo's back once and for all. Look out Freddie!! STOP THE CLIFHANGERS ALREADY!!!!! Other than that, another masterpiece. "SiP"cerely, Erik Norton Tank@www.music.uh.edu

This was a strange issue, and I can see why Terry has said that he had a hard time writing it. I think Casey has finally gone over the edge and lost it! Completely! I mean, what would compell a person to do something that completely BRAINLESS!? I was surprised at the David revelations in this issue. Now I really want to know more about his life and his youth, and for once I can truly see the strength and importance of his faith. It also makes his outburst to Katchoo ( "I am NOT my sister!" ) make alot more sense. And poor Francine! Just when she's starting to figure things out, she walks in on a rather painfully embarrassing scene. I think that I felt a mix of horror, absolute amusement, and complete embarrassment for everyone involved in that last scene.

Thank you. I don't think I could say that enough. I've been waiting, for a LONG time, to see some more development on David. I've always felt he's what keeps the tension between Katchoo and Francine fresh, and this episode truly does the character justice. It also drops two possible destinies for David, both of which would explain the mystery in earlier issues. Also, thank you for finally humanizing Casey. I hoped you would get around it eventually. Nobody THAT perky can be happy. I'm glad to see that she's got some substance down there, even if it only has two brain cells. Every once in a while, the series tends to slow down, but its issues like this that make it all worthwhile. While the last few issues were simply adding detail to events we already knew happened, it's good to see that there was also the basis for character development there. Recent financial problems have forced me to cut back on my comic purchases. I'm down to one, now, and I was about to drop SIP as well until this issue. Ah, well. It's only a meal. Thanks, Terry.

I think the issue is fantastic as well as funny. Especially when Katchoo pulls Casey off of David and threw her on the floor and threatened to pop her silicones. It looks like we're going to see David in trouble soon and I can't wait to see what that call was about. Excellent job as always. Keep up the good work.

Fantastic! The story, which some have unfairly claimed was plodding along, takes another sharp turn and is ready to move and develop further. And into areas that we've discussed on the discussion forum!!! :) Anyway, I admit I'm not sure how this is going to fit intot he overall "future" story that appears to have taken the backseat agin for the moment. I don't care anyway1 This issue was great! Keep 'em coming!

I liked it, especially the little touches like the interaction between David, Casey and Katchoo as David comes to terms with his inheritance (his eyes narrow as he talks to Casey). Casey's motivations and character are beyond me, and I have just given up trying to work her out. But does David really need that long hair?

What? What is THIS? Is Casey actually getting some DEPTH OF CHARACTER! Another fine turn, Terry. I think this is the first time we've had a chance to see Casey as more than a shallow, overaerobicized annoyance. This issue really shows us how desperately Casey wants to be loved and accepted. I find it very ironic that in spite of all her nipping and tucking, she obviously doesn't feel loveable. It will be interesting to see what happens next here. David: OK, I'm a little worried here, Terry! You have such a gift for "tricking" your readers into thinking you've thrown them one bone, leaving us to find out later it's something different entirely... I'm going through my "clues" here; Kathoo's emotional silence and inward "Control, control" thoughts when Future Francine asks Future Katchoo what happened with David. The whole "Power changes people.." warning (along with the startling revelation that David was a gangbanger and wanted on murder charges!), and finally David declaring that he's going to build futures for people who never had any. I'd like to believe the last statement is true, I've been reading this comic too long not to imagine some sort of horrible slow corruption of David (although I really don't want that to happen!). And I'm glad Katchoo finally put a few moves on him. They deserve a little fun (no, I don't mean this the way Casey would..)! Francine: First of all, completely off topic, Francine looks just adorable on the cover and in her little overalls at the fishing pond! If I weren't so psycho-obsessive about SIP, I'd hang the cover up! THANK YOU Terry, for writing the first issue in so many months that has only made me laugh and has not made me feel sad or heartbroken for my "friends" in any way! The THUMP THUMP panel with Francine and Katchoo was GREAT! Yay Francine for going swimming! I really hope it's not such a bad day in Paradise next issue as the preview suggests.. -Melanie

Ignore all naysayers, Terry. This was great issue. I'm also tired of people saying they hate this or that character. This issue proves that all the characters in SiP are tragic ones and desrve mercy. Well maybe not Freddie. Keep up the good work.

Regarding issue 23: Comments posted in this issue's letter column ran pretty strongly against Casey. She is a dope. But I wonder how many of you softened your tone after seeing tears in her eyes. She's a very sad person. She seems to have gotten through life on her looks her body and her sexuality. Her interpersonal skills are limited to the simplest ideas of give and take. She's in a bad marriage to a guy who refuses to take responsibility for his actions. She's not bright. She is fragile, yet quite resilient. She is friendly and sweet. I have never witnessed a single malicious or mean spirited act from her. She is, in short, a child. In a playmate's body! And just like a child, Katchoo has to spank her occassionally, and she also has to show her some love. Even if at the moment Katchoo wants to kill her, she innately understands that Casey means no harm. But she still does REALLY dumb things. NOW! Stop and think about that person and how real she is, and think kindly of Terry, and thank him when next you talk to him, cause he's such an intuitive and wise writer, AND cuz he shares. So who else got a lump in their throat during the "over the hill waiting for me" speech? And anybody who dumps a book this quickly when there's obviously a point that you haven't seen yet is just suffering from a short attnetion span. Did that make sense? Anyway, the guy's totally entitled to his opinion, and I hope it didn't derail Terry too much or for too long. We're all here with you! But dammit what happens to David??? Tambi. She's kind of sexy. And scary. OOh, baby. Hey! Why am I the only one here that's naked?? SiPfan

My, my.... Well, I wanted to like David, but he used to lead a gang AND had 2 murder charges on him. But he gets upset when he finds out Darcy's 1.4 billion didn't help anybody. I don't know, my jury is still out on him. I hope something good happens to Casey, I felt bad for her, even though she was hilarious this issue. As for the star attractions, I want to be happy that they made up, but I feel after this incident, there'll be another blow-up. Over all, a pretty funny issue thanks to Casey.
